Cities Readiness Initiative
Outbreak Response
The Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI) is a federally funded effort to prepare major U.S. cities and metropolitan areas to effectively respond to a large scale bioterrorist or naturally occurring outbreak event by dispensing antibiotics or vaccines to their entire population.

The program aims to increase the county’s capacity to deliver medicines and medical supplies during a large-scale public health emergency.

Volunteer Help

It trains volunteers to deliver medicines or vaccines to the population within a time frame that will make an appreciable health difference during a large-scale public health emergency.
